The task was how to give the public an idea of what they might experience at the Sydney Tower Eye? Create an illusion of 260m.
NOW created a bespoke set-up, which enabled our camera to capture people from above and make the digital image appear that they were at the top of the tower (with the help of a hand drawn 3D chalk artwork), At both Pitt Street Mall and the Pyrmont Bridge, the public were given the opportunity to interact with the activation and find their digital image on the Sydney Tower Eye Facebook page.
The Photo Gallery
The photo app, which was built onto the Sydney Tower Eye Facebook page meant we could collect answers to the competition question. Capturing the user's email on the app meant we could link the person to their photo and contact the lucky winners.
The inventive nature of this activation meant the response rate and social media engagement was immense.
